San Francisco part 2, Seattle, and Vancouver

Saturday I went to a free Jazz festival in North Beach, then checked out a Zombie Flashmob (A group of people agree to meet up dressed like zombies and lurch around the city, www.eatbrains.com) Later I visited Amoeba records in Haight Ashbury, managed to spend 50 dollars on 8 CDs, which is pretty good. It's got a very good selection, but I was still slightly disappointed.
Sunday I went for a walk around the parks, which were very nice, especially the Presidio park which is like a small forest on the edge of the city. Monday I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was pretty foggy, but there was still a good view.
I left San Francisco the next day, headed for Seattle, which took about 19 hours, then, when I arrived in Seattle, I went to visit Jimi Hendrix's grave. It took me a while to find, as it's way out of town, and it's in a pretty big cemetery. That evening there was an open mic night at the hostel which was good fun, there was a Bob Dylan lookalike/soundalike/wannabe who was actually pretty good, as well as a couple of other singer/songwriters who were ok.
Yesterday I visited the Experience Music Project, a big museum of music with a lot of Hendrix stuff, a big Dylan exhibition, a history of the guitar exhibition with lots of old guitars which was fascinating. Then I got the bus to Vancouver, which is where I am now. After finally managing to find a bank which had Visa cashpoints, I now have money and can go out.

"A group of people agree to meet up dressed like zombies and lurch around the city"

At least Tom has found a nice like-minded group of people to hang out with that share his interests.

I think it is unfair that Eric and Tony are being mocked in this way. They are nice chaps and we owe them so much. For Holly to have to read your comments is completely unfair and shows a total lack of consideration and sensitivity. You would think that after seven years you would have learned the art of friendship- the ways in which we should treat each other and how to treat each other (in this case, how not to treat each other).
Eric is a lovely, generous, good-natured and kind guy who has earned our respect and fondness through years of constant loyalty and good friendship. Tony has been an exemplerary friend to me personally, he is a funny, loyal and special lad who amazes me regularly with his beautiful friendship for me.
Come on guys, I know Tom's on holiday, and I know this is his blog but that's not excuse for these comments. I hope you can see how rude you have been to my friends, and if you don't respect them enough to treat them as I do then I feel it is my role to state my disaproval and your loss of my respect as a result of your revolting statements.
Frankly, I find it quite sickening that at times like these we are taking it upon ourselves to hurt ourselves. This "friendly fire" helps no-one- we have to stick by each other through it all. That is the only way the friendships we have forged will survive to see the many more years I thought they could.

Thankyou Michael for your support in this most difficult of times. WIth your support and Tonys i have been able to share one of my biggest (or smallest you could say) secrets and as such i just want to say i love you like the boyfriend i never had.

"Eric", this is exactly what I'm talking about- whoever just posted two strikingly similar versions of an equally sheizer post- is trying to trivialise the issue I have raised.
I won't be muffled- let me state clearly that the morons that keep posting these revolting posts are despicable and I say we take a stand and defy them by making posts motivated by positivity and not pointless negativity and insults.

I thought this was Tom's blog? So shut your pie hole Micheal. Why don't you make a blog and write about just how good Tony and Eric are.
